In accordance with the requirements of the MLIS program, Dr. Abbas and I met on multiple occasions. These meetings were conducted in person, through Zoom, and through e-mail. We first discussed the end-of-program assessment options, deciding on portfolio defense, and then developed a plan for what coursework should be accomplished to meet my goals. Dr. Abbas and I kept in contact frequently, to  monitor my progress in both my studies and in the portfolio. We communicated about meeting the goals that I had set, and how to achieve those goals. As graduation has drawn near, we have focused on completing the portfolio, as well as looking ahead to what opportunities may be available to me.
